For this special programme the Nederlands Danstheater I is joining forces with the neighbouring company, the Residentie Orchestra. The Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite has produced her fourth choreography for the ensemble. Her ominous and mysterious style always ensures idiosyncratic dance works. The other world premiere is a very special one. Lightfoot León has created a work especially for the golden jubilee of the Nederlands Danstheater from a composition by Philip Glass. The Residentie Orchestra will be playing the new work of this composer.
