Batsheva Dance Company & Batsheva Dance Company & Ensemble (Israël)
This popular guest was seen for the last time at the tenth edition of the Holland Dance Festival in 2005 and was then one of the big attractions with an intriguing production on location in the Atrium of city hall. For this edition the artistic leader Ohad Naharin will be presenting his choreography 'MAX' (2008), a refined ensemble piece which examines the roots of movement, time and space. Specially for the festival, and as an ode to the Nederlands Dans Theater, the Batsheva Dance Ensemble, a junior group of the 'Kaamos' company, returns to the stage with one of Naharin's first choreographies, created specially at the time for the Nederlands Dans Theater.
